Embedded PowerBI with custom query results?

Is it possible to embed powerbi into an app and tie it's view to a user's query search results? 

The entire DB the user's querying against is about 1M records and their search results are > 1000 records.  Although usually a lot less than that.  

We'd like to have an analytics view in addition to the search results grid.   Just not sure what we need to do to tie into the record set dynamically.
