I am trying to embed a Power BI report implemented with RLS and having Azure analysis services as its datasource with live connection. It has RLS implemented and we are trying to embed this report into a .NET application. Can anybody suggest a way around. I have tried using Postman it throws effective identity error too.
HI @Deepanshi_Ranka,
AFAIK, the RLS with live connection mode to Analysis service data source should be applied on the database side instead of report. I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following link to know the usage and limitation of this type data source:
Embed a report on an on-premises SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
In addition, what type of security filter are you used ? The Row level or Object levels?
