Do A SKUs support "embed for your organization"?

The documentation says:

The embed for your organization solution doesn't support A SKUs.

See Understand the permission tokens needed for embedding a Power BI application - Power BI | Microsoft ...

But the tutorial (see Embed content in your Power BI embedded analytics application enabling better embedded BI insights f...) lets me embed workspaces and reports from an A SKU.

Is the documentation wrong? Or am I doing something unsupported, even though the tutorial works?

Hi @rbroida ,

Power BI embedded analytics offers two solutions:

The table below provides the specific SKU that is needed for each solution, you can get more details in the following official documentation:

Which SKU should I use?

Are you embedding Power BI content for your organization? And do you get any error when embedding it? Could you please provide more details on it? Thank you.

Hi @v-yiruan-msft ,
Now that there is Fabric, are we able to use F SKU's for both Embed for your customers and Embed for your organization?

Thank You

Thanks for the reply.

Only customers will use our application. However, we want our customers' users to have personal bookmarks, which requires "embed for your organization". The documentation says this is not supported in a class A SKU, but I was able to do it nonetheless using the GitHub sample. I used the IDs of a workspace and report that are in an A1 SKU, and I logged in as a user with a "free" Power BI license. So it looks like it works despite Microsoft saying it's not supported.

We also noticed the Power BI Playground has personal bookmark examples which don't require the user to login. Is the Playground using "embed for your organization" behind the scenes? If so how does it avoid making the user login?
