I have two questions on this topic.
First, does anyone have sample code to use in a Power BI report to enable it to show the refresh time in eastern time (US) rather than UTC time. Also need the time to be correct for daylight savings time and it needs to display correctly when the report is published. I have experimented with some code to do this and it never seems to quite work.
Second, I have inserted code to pull time from a timeserver (worldtimeapi.org) and it works. However, the site mentions that they have frequent downtime and may not be robust enough for business use. Is there a preferred site to pull time into a Power BI report? While this method is working, time really needs to be calculated in the report without external dependencies. Also, is there a US government time server – all I found was NIST and it didn’t appear to be setup to be used in this way.
Hi @Anonymous
Please convery the UTC time to EST time
