Dataset Refresh from API

Hi,

I came across this link.

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-data-refresh-apis-in-the-power-bi-service/

It references this:

https://github.com/Azure-Samples/powerbi-powershell/blob/master/manageRefresh.ps1

I am having trouble with this section:

# AAD Client ID
# To get this, go to the following page and follow the steps to provision an app
# https://dev.powerbi.com/apps
# To get the sample to work, ensure that you have the following fields:
# App Type: Native app
# Redirect URL: urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oo
#  Level of access: all dataset APIs

Can someone tell me exactly what I am supposed to put into each field once you goto https://dev.powerbi.com/apps?  I have tried a number of things but when I click Register App to finally get Client ID it clears everything and I get nothing.

Thanks!

Jason

Hi @mcguija,

Currently, there is a known issue on Power BI Support page that users may be unable to access the site https://dev.powerbi.com/app, in order to register new developer applications.

While the team work to remediate impact, users can register their application through the Azure portal per the instructions located here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/register-app#register-with-the-azure-portal. Power BI engineers are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Next update: 12/26/2017 @ 11:00 AM PST
