Data pre requisition for the dashboard --table format official document
Hi,
could anyone provide a link of an official document of the requirements of PowerBI need flat table format data as input?
currently need to help the financial department change excel reports to powerBi dashboards/reports
input data excels are all pivotal tables and when adding data, it is always adding columns but not rows.
it is really hard to convince the colleagues we need to reformate the data in excel to flat data format, so hope to find the official document presenting to them saying, the pivotal table will not work.
