Hello,
I want to create a SharePoint page or website where I can display all dashboard visualizations. The data will come from different sources such as Excel, Word documents, the cloud, and OneDrive. How can I create a dataset in such a way that it is centralized in one place and create live dashboards?
How can I create a dynamic website of dashboards?
The dashboard is for a college and they want to see their enrolment and how they can increase the numbers in upcoming years by analyzing the previous data. Based on those numbers, they will also analyze how much more space they need. [Enrolment numbers, retention , space utilization, Program offered).... The data is not in a specific format and I have to work on gathering the data first and then make one centralized database where all teh data reside.... It could be a type of website that I could create, any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
You can embed Power BI reports in SharePoint with the Power BI web part, but IMO your experience will be much better if you make a Power BI app instead and just link to it from SharePoint. The navigation will be more seamless and it'll feel more coherent. Apps are designed to bring together data from different datasets to specific target audiences.

Hi @Harpreet1405_12 ,
To create a centralized dataset in Power BI, you can use Power Query to connect to your different data sources (Excel, Word documents, OneDrive, etc.) and transform the data as needed. Once you have your data in Power Query, you can create relationships between the different tables and then load the data into a single dataset. To create live dashboards, you can use the Power BI service to create reports and pin visualizations to a dashboard. You can also set up data refresh schedules to ensure that your data stays up-to-date.

To create a dynamic website of dashboards, you can embed your Power BI dashboards and reports into a SharePoint page or website using the Power BI web part. This will allow you to display your dashboards and reports directly within your SharePoint site, and users can interact with the visualizations just as they would in the Power BI service.

What's the business value of doing that? Which insights are you planning to drive?
