Custom visual, format painter

Hi everyone,

I'm developing a custom visual to show a measure, inside the documentation and around the internet I didn't find anything hence I'm here.

Seems like I can't get to work the format painter:

 on my visual.
If I click on any other visual on the report the icon turn the same as the format painter and I can paste styles to other component, while if I click the format painter on my own custom visual I'm not being able to copy settings to other ones.

I have to add something to the code? or capabilities.json file?
