Custom visual behavior differences between desktop and cloud

I tried to use Force Graph (and some own custom visual) in Power Bi but the behavior of the visual is not the same in the two context. For example labels on links works on desktop but not in cloud, or weight of links works on cloud not in desktop. And I experienced some same issues and differences while I'm developing custom visuals.

What is the cause of these differences and how can I handle it? It is very annoying because the debugging of visual is working only on the web, but I can't identify what is the problem in Desktop and why.
