Hi,
I am developping a custom visual to make a specific chart that shows percentages accross 2 dimensions and the totals, like the table below.
a b c Total
x 2.3% 5.1% 7.1% 4.0%
y 8.2% 2.0% 4.3% 5.0%
Total 5.4% 4.0% 5.2% 4.7%
To be able to calculate the totals, I don't use the percentage measure that is available in the data model, but the numerator and the denominator.
I realize now that in the matrix visual I can add a percentage measure and the totals of the matrix are calculated correctly.
Is there a way to have the same behavior in a custom visual? I don't understand how I could sum a percentage directely, but I'm probably missing a power BI concept.
Hi,
Please check Matrix Data Mapping here.
