Create Calculated Column or Measure from JavaScript(API / Embedded)

need to provide the client a way to add calculated column/ measure while add/edit report over the web

Is there any way that I can add/update a calculated column or measure using API or while editing the report in embedded mode?

Hi @Anonymous 

Power BI Embed will show reports online, just like reports in Power BI Service, Power BI doesn't support you to add calculated column or measures in online reports.

Power BI only supports you add calcualted columns and measures in Power BI Desktop.

For reference: Can we do Modeling, Calculated Fields and Measures in Power BI Embedded?
