Could not connect to your data gateway.

Could not connect to your data gateway. Make sure your file system is active with the gateway running.

    Could not connect to your data gateway. Make sure your file system is active with the gateway running. The detailed error is 'Gateway on endpoint  is unreachable.

      Check with your source system whnther it is online or offline and also check if it is enabled for remote connection.

    Anonymous You might be using file to get the data in power bi desktop report, you need to store the copy of same file in gateway machine as well with same directory.

    Since that file is missing on gateway that's why you are getting this message

    What data source are you connecting to? How did you configure your gateway? At what point did you get the error message above? Could you please provide some screenshot for these information? You can refer to the official documentation below to troubleshoot your problem.

    Troubleshoot gateways - Power BI

    First of all, you have to make sure your gateway is online and running properly, and the gateway account that you logged in to is the same as the gateway account that shows online on the service. Then, make sure that the relevant data source is correctly configured in the gateway.
