Can Power BI embedded be chached for offline functionality?

Hi,

We have an a use for Power BI embedded for our insurance sales agents, who tend to be in rural areas with low internet connection. I noticed playing around with network settings that Power BI reports when embedded have inconsistent abilities to deal with a loss of internet connection. If I have a table of data such as names, sales, and addresses. any sorting will require the report to be online, however repeating the sort action, such as sort by ascending and then switching it to descending requires no such network connection.

My question, is if it is possible for Power BI to cache data for embedded power BI reports so that it can be manipulated while having little or no internet connection?

Thanks,

No, currently it is not possible.

The Interaction would make a new call to the service and then render the report again.

If there is no internet connection, the report will pending on loading status.

Regards,

Michael

Thanks, some instance with actions such as sorting seems to be cached. There seems to be some potential for offline functionality but thank you for your response.
