Hi everyone,
I've created a Tabular model with SSAS and deployed on PowerBI Service. I'm looking for a script (Powershell, TOM, etc.) to automatically refresh the dataset with XMLA endpoint...We want to use the xmla endpoint to have an unlimited refresh, instead of 48/day.
It can be done with a component in SSIS, but we need to migrate to SQL Server2019.
Thank you for your help 🙂
Have you looked at Power Automate? It has an action "Refresh Power BI dataset" that can be triggered by data changes in your source (for example)
CAVEAT: Refresh requests are ignored if a refresh is currently in progress.
