Hi,
Service principal authentication isn't supported for the Apps - Get Reports Rest API method according to the below documentation.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/apps/get-reports
However there is not much information.
-> Does Apps - Get Reports Rest API method returns apps that I created? (It is throwing exception for an app that is created by another colleague)
-> Is there a way for getting all (tenant level) apps and related reports?
Thanks

HI @jaws797,
#1, This should related to the test account, it can work with the apps that you has corresponding permissions.
#2, Current it not include these type of api to directly return all report in the tenant.

Xiaoxin Sheng

Thank you,
"#1, This should related to the test account, it can work with the apps that you has corresponding permissions."
What are the required permissions?
And I am working in production. I am calling the Rest API (Apps - Get Reports) for all apps in the tenant. However Power Query throws error message. When I filtered one of my apps, Power Query runs as expected.
HI @jaws797,
I mean the permission of the power bi apps that you want to invoke from rest API.(you can setting these on power bi service side) It does not mean the permissions of API to operate tenant or other type of contents.

Xiaoxin Sheng
