I see that if I follow the steps here (https://app.powerbi.com/embedsetup/AppOwnsData), I get an app registered in the active directory section of portal.azure.com. During this process, I get all the information I need to be able to use the code examples from PowerBI-Developer-Samples GitHub repo. When following the https://app.powerbi.com/embedsetup/AppOwnsData tutorial, I had to use sample content (US Sales Dataset and report) which then appear in app.powerbi.com.
Additionally, I have a Streaming dataset that I created in app.powerbi.com and I can't seem to connect them. I have tried to create a workspace + report + app in app.powerbi.com that is querying the dataset I also created in app.powerbi.com, but then when I put all the information needed in the configuration of PowerBI-Developer-Samples, it says it can't find the app, and that is because it is not in App registrations in portal.azure.com.
What can I do to have a registered app in portal.azure.com with my own streaming dataset created in app.powerbi.com?
