Is it possible to access the logged in user details (i.e. email) within a custom visual in Power BI desktop?

Power BI Custom Visuals API does not allow to get user's information due to security concerns.

However, you can use DAX function USERPRINCIPALNAME() to create a new measure/column and put this column into a data field of a custom visual.

But unfortunately, the given solution is not suitable for my use-case. So we are planning to get this details from the end user manually.

Just the client wants to know, who are all use their custom extension/visuals in PowerBI desktop application.

Is there any options to view the published visuals(Published in AppSource) usage report like how many views, how many downloads, List of users - who are all use our published visuals (AppSource) etc.,

No, it  is not supported due to personal data ans security reasons.
