Hello there.
I'm developing a project in Power BI where I need to create some productivity reports.
It was requested that all this information be concentrated in a single pbix file because this way it would be possible to create a single source of truth and I would not have to worry about making adjustments when there is a change in a database that appears in multiple reports , as it would generate rework.
Furthermore, by concentrating all information in a single pbix file it would be possible to have an overview of all operations.
Is it feasible to create something like this? Maybe using dataflows or direct query?
I hope it's explained well.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @lbendlin
Project is what I've been calling it. I am translating from Portuguese to English and some information may not be properly translated.
There are approximately 150 users, there are at least 12 tables, with more than 15 columns each.
The central idea is to create a report where it is possible to obtain the result in different metrics for the same user or team, in a way that it is not necessary to have a report for each metric.
My recommendation would be to enable "Personalize Visuals" and train your users on that fantastic self-serve feature.
what is a "project" ? Not a term usually used in Power BI.
How many users? How many dimensions? What's the size of the tables?
