Hi,
I am trying to access the Power BI APIs using Power Automate. I first generate a token using this setup and the bearer code seems to be not working.
What i notice is the bearer code is shorter compared to the one i get using the Try it option on the Power BI site
Anyone had any success doing this in Power Automate?
Hi @powerdevkris,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
I can see that you are trying to generate an access token using the HTTP action in Power Automate to call the Power BI REST APIs.
Since this involves authentication and configuration within Power Automate, this topic is best handled by the Power Automate product team, who can provide specialized guidance on flow setup and authentication methods.
You can raise this question in the official Power Automate forum here: Microsoft Power Platform Community
They will be able to help you with the correct flow configuration and token generation steps.
Thank you for using the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Yes, we have done that, however we have followed the recommendation to create a custom connector. That will take of the authentication for you, so you can focus on the swagger.
SAD TROMBONE SOUND: This custom connector was recently made "Premium" so now all users need a Premium license. But that's the same for your HTTP action.
