I note that i have applied some steps which i didnt intend to....the step of
Table.SelectRows(#"xxx", each true) which appear few times in my applied steps. what does this step do? Just want to make sure I didnt filter out useful lines...

These steps will be created if you started to filter your data but then decided otherwise and didn't finish with it for example.
The function means returns every row which returns "true" on that condition from the 2nd argument. As there is actually no condition, but the result "true" being hardcoded for each row, all raws will be returned (and all rows would be deleted if it would be "false").
So you can safely delete it 😉
