we can't publish this power bi desktop because it contains an unsupported data source connection

Trying to use SQL server as data source. Trying to publish to On-Prem Power BI Report Server.

 

When will this be supported?

As commented by Riccardo Muti in this blog, they're targeting SQL data sources to be used in the Power BI Report Server later this year. Smiley Happy
