hi,
i have been having this nagging problem where i have many visuals in many reports (mostly under bookmarks) that don't stay fix.
for instance, they are many matrixes that have date hierachies like year-quarter, year-week which i have set them to be expanded. however, they don't seem to stay in the expanded mode as i have set up.
i have also created many bar charts which to b in top-10 ranking. they too don't seem to stay fix with the ranking always being reset somehow.
i have tried booking marking with the hope of making them stay as i have set up but that too didn't work. plse advise how to resolve such problem.
tks & krgds, -nik
It sounds like you're experiencing issues with report visuals and bookmarks not staying fixed as you've set them up in Power BI. Here are some potential solutions to try:
Check for interactions: Make sure that there are no conflicting interactions between visuals in your reports that could be causing them to reset or change unexpectedly. To do this, click on the "Edit interactions" button in the "Visualizations" pane, and adjust the settings for each visual as needed.
Use drillthroughs instead of bookmarks: Instead of using bookmarks to preserve the state of visuals, consider using drillthroughs to navigate between pages with different levels of detail. This can help ensure that the visuals stay fixed as you navigate between them.
Check the visual settings: Double-check the settings for each visual, including the formatting, filters, and sorting options. Make sure that these are all set up correctly and that there are no conflicts between them.
Consider using "Sync slicers": If you have multiple visuals that share the same slicer, you can use the "Sync slicers" feature to ensure that they all stay in sync as you interact with them. This can help prevent unexpected changes to the visuals.
Check for updates: Make sure that you are running the latest version of Power BI and that all updates have been installed. Sometimes, issues with visuals not staying fixed can be caused by bugs in older versions of the software that have since been fixed.
If none of these solutions work, you may want to consider reaching out to the Power BI support team for further assistance.
@hood2media , Are you using TOPN filter in visual or topn measure?
