using the SAP Netweaver GUI scripts automation codes in POWER BI

Hello Community,

We have a Netweaver 740 GUI in our office that IT does only give us access to be able to run transactions and save reports. As I have seen many times people use the recorded scripts using SAP record automation feature and bring it to Excel VBA using Macro to automate the process, I was wondering if there is a way to use the same scripts in POWER BI or POWER QUERY and imitate the automated Macro job as in EXCEL?!

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    It is easier for power bi to get data from API/build-in Connector/R Script, but it is hard to get data from GUI using Macro, maybe you could try to get data from the excel file which you can use macro scripts to import data from SAP Netweaver GUI.
