CahabaData You shouldn't need to... The easiest way to skip all the verification stuff is to download from the PowerBI Service.
Just log in there and it automatically downloads the latest version.

hey thanks Eno. For me it wasn't automatic - was signed into Service for over an hour before getting your post. But I found the download button and triggered that and indeed it did the install without the new introduction stuff.....
