Hi. This will depend on how you show your data in your visualization. Anyway, try this:

NewMeasure = 
CALCULATE ( 
    [avg_order_margin] ,
    ALL( Query1[order date] )
)

The all should be for the whole division and not for each numerator and denominator.

ll you didn't mention you have a filter on the filter pane haha. This is calculating for the whole dates. To keep this idea on the visualization try ALLSELECTED() instead of ALL.
