I am creating a Pareto chart in Power BI. I have created a new column using the following DAX expressions:
Pareto =
VAR ranking = RANKX('Sheet1','Sheet1'[Sales by Product])
VAR runningsum = SUMX(TOPN(ranking,'Sheet1','Sheet1'[Sales by Product],DESC),'Sheet1'[Sales by Product])
VAR total = CALCULATE(SUM('Sheet1'[Sales by Product]),ALL('Sheet1'))
RETURN DIVIDE(runningsum,total)
ABC Rank =
IF('Sheet1'[Pareto] <= 0.8,"A",
IF('Sheet1'[Pareto] <= 0.9,"B","C"))
Next, I want to adjust the thresholds for ABC Rank using parameters so that they can be dynamically adjusted.
However, I am having trouble getting this to work properly using the new parameter feature in the Modeling tab.
How can I achieve this?
Thank you for your response.
I have attached the sample data I am using.
Best regards.
