Hello,

I am currently trying to connect a set of companies from my Business Central production environment to Power BI.

There are more than 50 companies in the environment, and I would like to extract the same table from all of them at the same time. How can I do this without having to connect to each company individually?

Hi@Test_1232-You cannot pull data from all Business Central companies in a single OData/API call. Business Central is company-isolated by design. However, you can automate the process so you don’t manually connect to each company.

For best practices:

1.Prefer API v2.0 over OData where available (better performance)

2.Filter data early (date ranges, required columns only)

3.Keep company identifiers in the final table

Hope this information helps

Hi @Test_1232 ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community Forum.

Hi @rajendraongole1 , Thank you for your prompt response.

Hi @Test_1232 , In addition to @rajendraongole1 response, i have added one point.

Use Table.Combine() in Power Query. If you connect to each company once, you can automate combining all tables into a single unified table. Create separate queries for each company. Disable Enable Load on each and Create a blank query and use below code.

= Table.Combine({Company1Table, Company2Table, Company3Table, ...})

I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.

Regards,

Dinesh
