Hi
Our organisation have different teams likes Sales,Implementation with power bi workspaces PBI-Sales,PBI-Implementaion.
PBI-Sales has sales dataset(it has queries CRC,FTG)which is used to build different reports.
PBI-Implementation has Implementation dataset which is used to build different reports.
We want to build a dashboard/report which needs to combine both sales and implemention datasets.we might achieve this for example by creating queries that are in sales dataset (CRC,FTG) in Implementation dataset,But this will give duplicate datasets . Is there a way to link these two different datasets without creating duplicate datasets either in PBI-sales or PBI-implementation.
Goal is to reduce redundancy of datasets and refresh times.
Thanks..
@kan,
If your Power BI reports are published to different workspaces, it is not possible to create a single dashboard/report to combine them.
In your scenario, you can only create a new dataset in Power BI Desktop by connecting to data sources of different teams and then create a new report.
Regards,
Lydia
