ssas live connection is not working with role base security

Hi,

i have developed SSAS cube with user role.but when i use ssas analysis service in powerbi with live connection.

the report does not show proper data based on user roles.

so please resolve my issue as soon as possible.

Hi @kinjalgshah87,

Current power bi not support add role level security on live connection datasource.
For your requirement, I'd like to suggest you to use SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) to add RLS on AS side.

Notice: above tutorial is for AS tabular, I'm not so sure if it also works on AS cube mode.

How I can do this with a project in multidimensional mode, I defined roles at SSAS level and I tested them at SSMS level but it does not work at Power bi level, all users can see all data, help please.
