sql endpoint take long time to run query

My SQL endpoint has been experiencing issues since yesterday. Queries that used to take 10 to 15 seconds are now taking 5 to 6 hours to run, which is also causing the Power BI service refresh to fail

It's showing that the program name 'DMS' is blocking some session IDs. Could this be the cause? Could you please explain this?

Hey @Nimraz007,
Absolutely! The 'DMS' program blocking those sessions could be what's causing your SQL queries to drag on. When a session is blocked, it holds onto a resource that other sessions need, which causes everything to slow down. This is likely why your Power BI refreshes are failing too. You'll want to identify and sort out that blocking session to get things back on track.
