sorting order of a column : ascending or descending?

Hi,

How to chose the sorting order of a column : ascending or descending?

@GD61 - Depends on what you are trying to accomplish, do you mean like a default sorting order? In the data model, you can right click a column to sort it, but I do not believe that translates to visuals. You can also set a "Sort By" column in the data model to change how it is sorted. 

 

In Reports area, you can click columns in a table visual to sort it, click again to sort it the other way. In other visualizations, you can click on the ellipses ("..."), expand "Sort By" and choose something to sort by, repeat procedure to sort it the other direction.
