I have a created a slicer visual. Unfortunately I cannot create a date slider. When I put the date hierarchy (Year/Quarter) into the data field of the visual, and then go into slicer settings, I cannot activate the options, but only slider selection appear, which returns check-boxes, but not a slider. If I only enter Year into the data field, then a slider option is available, but then I can only check years, but no other date ranges. Can you help?

Hi @centroid , If your Date column has heirarchy then by default you will heirarchy format while using that column in slicer.
If you see the images below :
1) by default choosing heirarchy
2) select your date column instead of date heirarchy ( see in image 2 )
3) Now, it will all date values in list format then select drop down icon and you will options as in imgae 3.
4) Finally slect "Between" option from drop down then you will able to see the date as range format.
Thanks
