sharepoint list items having url to be shown in power bi

Iam having my use case which i would like to discuss.

what iam trying here is taking my sharepoint list items to powerbi, but while getting the data using sharepoint list and then transform... below is the issues identified.

1) i can see many other columns which are not in my sharepoint list are created in Transform table view.
2) There are Url link in my sharepoint list but when taken in power BI transform table view the link is not showing, (i have tried formating columns to Web Url under table view and then under visual > Url icon). both didn't work.

@aqeel_shaikh , You can try below steps

Extra Columns in Transform Table View:

SharePoint lists often include system-generated columns (like ID, Created, Modified, etc.) that may not be visible in the SharePoint UI but are included in the data export. You can remove these columns in Power BI by using the "Remove Columns" feature in the Power Query Editor.
URL Links Not Showing Correctly:

Ensure that the column containing the URLs is correctly identified as a URL in Power BI. Here’s how you can do it:
In the Power Query Editor, select the column that contains the URLs.
Go to the "Transform" tab and select "Data Type" -> "Text" if it’s not already set.
After loading the data into Power BI, go to the "Data" view.
Select the column with the URLs, then in the "Modeling" tab, set the "Data Category" to "Web URL".
In the report view, when you use this column in a table or matrix visual, ensure that the URL icon is enabled by selecting the visual, going to the "Format" pane, and turning on the "URL icon" under "Values".

Hi,

Thanks for the solution bhanu_gautam offered, and i want to offer some more information for user to refer to.

hello @aqeel_shaikh , for the first question, you can select the connector 'Sharepoint list online'  then select 2.0, it allows you to select the defualt view that only display the columns you have created.

For the second question, you need make sure that the url format is "https://...." or "http://..."  so that when you set its data category to url, it can work.
