You can see this for yourself pretty easily. Create a blank report with a grey background.
Insert > Shapes > Rectangle. Set the fill to White. You will see a white rectangle with blue line. If you resize the width to 400 or more the space outside of the blue line and the white shape get bigger the wider you make the shape. So the blue line is actually inset of the rectangle, not the outline of the rectangle.
If you try to add a border instead of the line, that appears to be outset of the white rectangle if you're looking to have rounded edges.
So for example if you're hoping to add a rounded rectangle behind a visualization to make the visual appear to have rounded corners, it's very difficult to get consistent spacing between visualizations of different sizes becuase the spacing between the line and the shape scale as you increase the size of the shape. Just another infuriating quirk of Power BI.
The following 2 rectangles both have an x position of 25, one is 200 wide, the other 1000, and because of this quirk, they do not actually line up. It's stupid.
@Anonymous really not sure what you are looking for and if you paste a big image and explain it that will be helpful.

Hi @parry2k
Thanks a lot. see there's a tiny gap around the box and the line. I need blue line to be continue to the end of the box. Hope this is clear enough
@Anonymous not sure if it possible, there are hardly many settings around it. Just curious, why it matters?

I am creating a line to seperate filter on the left side of the report page and information on the rightside of the report page. I am bit OCD (lol) seeing just a white bit at the bottom of it I can't stand :).
maybe a new idea to PowerBI team then lol
@Anonymous you surely have eyes to the detail, keep it up, and don't worry I'm also like you. So only another option I can think of is that you can create an image in an external tool and then bring it in and can expand as much as you can ( i think).
