Hi @bbbbbiiiii ,

Sorry for that , But we cannot reproduce this issue on my side. What is the Authentication method you used for this dataset? Could you please try to refresh the data in the Power BI  Desktop with the same credential? Have you tried to do a on-demand refresh?

Sorry for any inconvenience this issue have caused.

@v-lid-msft, i used the same configuration as your screenshot. I have tried to refresh the PBI Desktop and it shows no errors.
@SivaMani, the data source credential settings look ok. There isnt any "cross" mark besides the source.

this is the screenshot of the error i got from pbi online.

Hi @bbbbbiiiii ,

Are there any other data source in this dataset rather than SharePoint Online List? Are you using the build-in SharePoint Online List Connector?

Hi @bbbbbiiiii ,

Could you please try to connect the SharePoint Onlist with the build-in connector from Get-Data? Please refer to this document to get more information: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/desktop-sharepoint-online-list

@v-lid-msft I recalled why I use a web source. I could not connect to the sharepoint online list. This is the error.

However, I am not the administrator for both PBI and sharepoint. Can anyone share with me what is wrong with this error and any solution to it?

Hi @bbbbbiiiii ,

Seems like your URL is not correct. Are you using the '.aspx' link from sharepoint. Could you please try to  trimmed down the end as following?

https://COMPANYWEBSITE.sharepoint.com /SitePages/Home

Please also refer to this similar thread:https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Connecting-to-a-SharePoint-List-Office-365-error/td-p/10075
