schedule refresh wtith excle files
Hello,
I have workspace which contains both googlesheets and excel files.
I need to schedule refresh only on the googlesheets, and the excel can stay static.
I mange to set the gateway for the googlesheets properly, but the excel files cause me to be unable to schedule the refresh.
Is there any chance that I can define which datastes will be refresh, and other will stay static?
A question related to this:
Since I am starting with powerIB, I would love to understand, where is the excel file I am posting to powerIB stored?
Is it possible to set this location, as the location for an Excel file?
this is how it looks when I tried to set the gateway:
Thanks in advance!
Hello, I suspect the PBI gateway doesnt like the c: location. Is it on onedrive? If it is follow this step by step:
Use OneDrive for Business links in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Hi dor-rog-tech ,
1. For queries for which the source data is not updated often or at all, you can exclude queries from being refreshed when the report is refreshed by un-checking 'Include in report refresh' in Desktop.
2. Data residency
Power BI stores customer data in an Azure geography (also known as the home geo) that is assigned when an Azure AD tenant signs up for Power BI services for the first time, except in cases where organizations utilize multi-geo deployments. You can find the datacenter from Power BI Service. If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.

Hey samdthompson,
Thank you very much for answer me!
unfortunately,
It does not so much help, because I do not want to be dependent onedrive.
Is there another solution?
Thank you!
