resize unicode characters

Hi!

Im using some unicode characters in one of my reports and they look a bit different in terms of size.
Black circle (11044), White circle (9711) and half black circle (9680).

Does anyone know how could I control their size?

Thanks,

They should respond to the same formatting controls as all other text. But, if you have them in a table for example and want their size changed relative to the other text in the table then you may need to go with SVG.

Hi @Greg_Deckler,

This is brilliant! hadnt seen your post and this opens to a whole new range of posibilities.

But before that, I need some extra help to understand what Im missing here...

*Shapetest =
VAR radius = 9
VAR color = "DarkBlue"
VAR opacity = 0.75
VAR Header = "data:image/svg+xml;utf8," &
              "<svg xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg' x='0px' y='0px' width='50' height='20'>"
VAR ShapeText = "<circle cx='10' cy='10' r='" & radius & "' fill='" & color & "' fill-opacity='" & opacity & "' />"
VAR footer = "</svg>"
VAR ret = Header & ShapeText & footer
RETURN
ret

Im just trying to get the shape to show, but I get the text string instead...what am I missing? Surely is something basic but I cant see it yet.

Many thanks!

Hi @NAOS,

Try to replace the blue part with a colon (:) and change the Data Category to "Image URL".

*Shapetest =
VAR radius = 9
VAR color = "DarkBlue"
VAR opacity = 0.75
VAR Header = "data&colon;image/svg+xml;utf8," &
              "<svg xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg' x='0px' y='0px' width='50' height='20'>"
VAR ShapeText = "<circle cx='10' cy='10' r='" & radius & "' fill='" & color & "' fill-opacity='" & opacity & "' />"
VAR footer = "</svg>"
VAR ret = Header & ShapeText & footer
RETURN
ret
