can it be possible to show chart and report labels or titles in chinese or japanese language?

how did you test with other languages, can you please share the sample power bi file which you tested if possible?

I am wondering how power bi will automatically convert english to other language ..my underlying data is in english only

I tested a few languages with non-latin alphabets and they display just fine.

In case your question was about having one report that shows in English for some users, and Japanese/Chinese/etc.. for some other users, have a look here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/translation-builder
