report based on dataset in the service dataset moved to other workspace

Hello,

I created a report in power bi desktop based on a dataset in the power bi service. 

The dataset had to be moved to another workspace. 

Now i can not use my report based on that dataset. Is there anyway i can connect the report to the moved dataset?

Hey,

actually I'm not sure if this will be of any help, but first the owner of the dataset of the new workspace has to provide you with the build permission, this will allow you to use datasets from other workspaces. This article explains this in more detail:

Then you might be able to switch the data source in your existing report.

Hopefully this will provide you with some ideas.
