refresh report from database

Hi,

I am creating a model BI environment for our Oracle database on Power BI Desktop.

Every time I add a table, it refreshes the data if it is not restricted by query.

And data for all tables in the model seems to be stored in the Power BI desktop to run the reports.

Is it possible to create a data model such that every time a report is run, data is obtained from the database ?

We have a very large Data warehouse on which we run reports along with some live databases, having data duplicated on a report server seems excessive.

Thanks

Sushma
