Hi Team,
I have installed Power BI desktop with Oracle 12.1.0.2 (64 bit) client version.
When I try to connect the Oracle database by giving the name and other credentials, it gives me the following error :
"Error while reading data from the provider: Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
Can anyone pls help ? I am struggling with this error since long.
Hello @pallavi-sharma

@pallavi-sharma , Make sure you have installed a suitable oracle driver : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-connect-oracle-database
Post that make the entry of the folder path where oracle driver is installed into Windows Environment path and check. If you do not do entery it will not work
