yes you can do that forecasting etc stuff in Power BI using forecasting line option
also you can use Azure Machine Learning Integration to work of AL/ML

using DAX to calculate future values is possible, but not that simple. You can this post as a start: https://www.minceddata.info/2021/01/17/events-and-projections/
Of course, there are many articles describing the forcasting of future values, just search for "DAX forecast future value".
If you are using Fabric you can also leverage sempy to create forecast values, but this then is batch orientated: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-science/read-write-power-bi-python
However, calculating future values is not that simple 😉
