power bi model performance issues with auto date/time intelligence

I have created a power bi model which contains 30 DateTime columns in my dataset while debugging the performance issues I saw power bi has created 30 Datetables which are hidden. 

So if my Fact table contains 1 million records and one of the attribute "created date" contains 30 Lakh unique DateTime values, then power bi will create a hidden table with 30 Lakh records? Is this a correct behavior? Or making one calendar table is the best option.

Please suggest. Try opening in DAX studio the table starts with  'LocalDateTable_fe80df66-e32b-455c-9426-804d866a2141'

@Anonymous , split date time. And join date with date table and time with time table.

Date = [date time]. date

time = [date time].time

There was a video from guyinacube to use a numeric date key. Missing the link as of now.

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
