New user here with maybe a simple question, but I don't know the answer and haven't found it searching online. When I create an Excel spreadsheet via a SharePoint list export and want to use it in Power BI, there are two options presented for my selected .xlsx file: owssvr and Table_owssvr. Which one should be selected and why are there two?
I imagine what you're seeing is owssvr is the name of your sheet and Table_owssvr is a defined table on that sheet (or vice versa).
Power BI can import entire sheets, or it can import named tables & named ranges within a tab.
Given the choice, I would tend to pick the table over the sheet (I've found that if you import a sheet, it will import the column headings as a row rather than as column headings).
This is your chance to engage directly with the engineering team behind Fabric and Power BI. Share your experiences and shape the future.
