Hi
i want to connect a Firewird SQL-Server with a ODBC Connectionm to my report.
The lokal connection on PowerBI Desktop works.
I have installed the on premise gateway on the server and add a database-connection.
looks like everythink works.
After publishing the Report i cant activate the gateway for the dataset.
the name of the odbc connection on the online service and the server are the same...
Whats the problem? can anyone help here?
Hi, i find de solution!
For connect in Firebird Database, need using the connection string:
DRIVER=Firebird/InterBase(r) driver;DBNAME=<your server url>:<your database FDB>;
My example:
DRIVER={Firebird/InterBase(r) driver};DBNAME=prod-usest02.test.com:C:\database.FDB;
Hi, I am getting same problem. Do you mind sharing the solution

Hi @kochspet,
Based on the error message, it seem that you have not add your data source to Date Gateway.
Please check if you have edit the Credential for the Dataset under Setting and if your Gateway is online.
If it is convenient, please share some screenshots to show your Manage Gateway.
Best Regards,
Cherry
