missbehaved Power BI Desktop
Hi,
I refresh Power BI files in the cloud service, on a schedule. There is no other way to model new queries and new formulas than in desktop. I may have several Power BI Desktops refreshing in parralel. Some of them contain lots of data = long refresh times.
The scenario is:
-start refresh of a Power BI report that contains lots of data
-start typing an answer to this thread == Power BI app becomes a background app
-Power BI finishes loading and becomes the foreground app == takes control of the mouse and keyboard, regardless of whatever you are doing, like typing an answer, or running PowerShell commands.
SQL Manager does not pop uninvited into the foreground when it completed a long running query = the expected behaviour. Power BI Desktop does. How to stop this?
