measure as a filter

hi

i know that's a known issue that new measure cannot be used as a filter

i saw an idea to create a new column with the dax function but apperantly in directQuery i can't use all the functions

this is my measure: new measure=if(CONTAINS('Query1 (2)','Query1 (2)'[combination1],[Measure 3]),1,0)

measure 3 is changing regard the slicers selected, and this measure supposed to give me true or false

i want that the filter will be whthere this measure=1

is anyone have an idea?? hopeless

thanks!

@MP_123

In this scenario, the value in CONTAINS function must be a single scalar value and it only be evaluated once. So you can't put a measure as argument in CONTAINS function since it's dynamic. And the measure will evaluate current row context, but the CONTAINS() function is based on entire table context. I don't think your logic can be achieved.
