is this a bug? default slicer dropdown/list functionality

i am only able to access the toggle for the list / drop down option of the default slicer when the header is set to on? is that right?

Currently, the list/drop down option is only available when the header is on, a similar idea states this issue, you can vote it up and add your comments.

thanks, im running out of votes though, and dont really want to you use them for something that i consider a bug.  When do we get a new batch of votes, are they annually allocated?

I got information internally that the behavior you describe is by design right now, the control to change the list/dropdown option is a part of the header.

In addition, regarding to the idea, once it accumulates  many votes, Power BI team may consider to improve this feature.
