Hello everyone!
Could you please help me with importing hstore data into power bi?
I know that power-bi doesn't support this type of data and I saw another messages in this forum. But they wasn't solved.
I would be approciate very much if somebody will share with me workaround how to do it. I believe that it's possible.
Thanks a lot,
Ekaterina
Hi @Katerina_SL ,
Just as you mentioned, Power BI does not support this type of data, so I think you can convert hstore data into a JSON format, because Power BI has better support for JSON.
When you have your data in JSON format, you can use Power Query in Power BI to import and transform this data. In Power BI Desktop, go to "Home" > "Get Data" > "More..." > "Other" > "Blank Query".
Use the Power Query Editor to connect to your database and run the query that outputs your data in JSON format.Use the "From JSON" functionality in Power Query to parse the JSON data into a table.
