how to use wildcard characters (*) to search in the native slicer in Power BI

Hello guys, I have been working for a while with Power BI and there has always been a thing that bugged me a lot. I was working previously in QlikView and I could configure the search options of the filter to allow end users to use wildcard characters (*) to allow them to filter certain values of a column. Let's say that I have a column with 10K unique records, and at least 100 of them contains the word "Molecule". I would like to filter out all the records that strictly starts with "Molecule". That is achievable in QlikView writing "Molecule*". This will automacatilly filter out all the records that strictly starts with "Molecule". If I want to search for all the records that ends with "Molecule" I would write "*Molecule" and if I want all the records that contains "Molecule" I would write "*Molecule*".

I don't know if there is a possibility to achieve this in Power BI slicers. In case it can be achieved through some workaround then I would appreaciate a lot the help.

Thanks a lot beforehand.

@yuttokb ,

I don't think whether that is possible in slicer but you can use filter pane filters to filter the value with contains and starts with but we do not have option for ends with.
